Even though I don't particularly like the subject of this book, the writing and tips are excellent. Most books I've read on marriage and long term relationships are about how to save the relationships and what you can do as a member of that relationship to keep it going. This books is more about how to get out of it, when being happy has become an arduous task. In a good relationships, couples in love make time for each other but a failed marriage is a nightmare and unworkable where the two of you have grown out of love and spend more and more time away from each other and feel it's time to move on. The chapters in this book cover feelings, disagreements, infidelity and why it exists and how to weigh the pros and cons of a relationship you are considering getting out of. If you are having problems in your relationship and have tried to fix it to no avail and have considered ditching the guy or gal, you probably ought to read this one.Product details

No, I am not cheating or getting divorced, I received the book for review. I am not an expert on the subject of cheating, but I've been married for quite a while. This book has some good advice, but not much. First of all, I am of the opinion most of the reviews here were written by women, and they LIKED the book...mainly because the author says, "Hey, if you neglected your spouse, didn't give him any attention, or withheld sex, YOU are not responsible for him having an affair. YOU kept YOUR marriage vows."
Ahhh...no, yes, and no. Withholding sex is NOT keeping your marriage vows. Neglecting your spouse, not being attentive, having your nose stuck in your tablet, computer or phone constantly...sorry, but you ARE responsible for your spouse looking elsewhere. The author was cheated on, so her view is biased. She permits her personal experience AND her religious beliefs to cloud her advice to her readers.
Here's a sorry fact marriage is not all rainbows, moonbeams, unicorns, demi-bras and crotch-less panties. It takes time, effort, and sometimes even plain old hard work. It takes compromise and self sacrifice. Yeah, sorry to say, you don't always get what you want. But if you try real hard, you just might find, you get what you need. If you're not willing to do that, you shouldn't get married in the first place.
Therefore, if you are trying to justify withholding love and affection from your spouse (man or woman), and then want to play the victim when that spouse looks elsewhere for these things, then by all means buy this book...it is PERFECT for you. For the rest of you, skip it. I'll be deleting this from my .
This is a great book to help you sort out your feelings and emotions during your marriage. It helps to point out key pros and cons that should lead to divorce or should lead to help save your marriage. Tips to help you save your marriage and keep your marriage going strong. Very insightful. This book is a guide to helping you determine your marriage and if it is healthy or not.
I just thought this book was a little shallow kinda full of stuff I've already heard I guess I was looking for something a bit more meaty. Pretty much all of this info can be found for free in articles online I didn't get much out of it but maybe others will
